I just saw this book LINT (or more correctly titled ‘Acme Novelty Library Volume 20’) by Chris Ware at the Silver Snail and had to buy it, because seriously, look at how BRILLIANT it is! Above is the cover (reason I picked up the book) and one of the first pages showing the world through the eyes of an infant (reason I kept reading). His style matures as the child does, and the use of multiple small panels to depict an every day event works flawlessly with this sort of slice-of-life piece (reason I bought the book).
I think I’ll try my hand at this sort of frame by frame time progression panel structure for my next comic class project. Now all I have to do is come up with an awesome ‘makes ya think’ plot…
